In addition she has extensive experience of delivering psychological assessment and selection, coaching and management development solutions to business.
Previously Head of a specialist Clinical Health Psychology service within the NHS, she developed her passion for psychological support for people living with long term conditions. She has helped many patients manage the adjustment to living with physical ill health including those living with cancer, Neurological diseases and chronic ill health due to cardiac conditions.
As Head of Psychological Staff Well-Being she further developed her skills and interests in workplace emotional health. She has been a mediator and worked with the range of workplace stress presentations.
Sharon has also worked with people who are experiencing the full range of mental health problems and emotional distress both within primary and secondary mental health care and has specialist training suitable for these client groups.
Sharon has specialist experience in working with people who have experienced Post Traumatic Stress and has held clinical positions within the Military and has treated front line staff in the Emergency Services.
Sharon excels in patient focus and puts the patient at the heart of what she does. She delivers her psychological assessment and treatment using plain language and is approachable in all that she does.
